Epic Day at Universal Studios Hollywood ft. the Wizarding World of Harry Potter

I AM FINALLY POSTING THIS.

Over the past summer we got a chance to visit Los Angeles, California and I couldn’t be more excited. We are talking California here. Are you kidding me?

My mom planned this vacation to see some of our relatives that live there for quite some time. It was a 5-hour plane journey and we are going to stay there for about 10 days. Just enough time to roam around the city. (Side note: we visited Las Vegas for the 4th of July – which is pretty awesome)

Shadow of the City Music Festival

Processed with VSCO with c7 preset

I was browsing through my external hard drive when I found these photos from my camera last June when my friends and I attended a music festival in New Jersey called Shadow of the City. It was organized and headed by Bleachers band vocalist, Jack Antonoff, which by the way was born and raised in New Jersey. He is so passionate about this festival cause he really wanted Jersey to be known as a place where people for good music and such.

My First NYC Trip

Hello!

Laughing at myself right now because I’m thinking of a good excuse why am I making this post just now when it’s clearly 4 months late and in the next 2 weeks I will be visiting NYC again. Hashtag procrastination at its finest.

Yo!

It’s been a while since I last wrote a blog post. I’ve been tremendously busy these past few months (especially Feb and March). There are just way too many things that I need to take care of and I would love to share it here on my blog when it’s all settled. (Can’t wait!!)

My 2015: A Year-End Post

Processed with VSCOcam with 4 preset

Oh. My. Gosh. 4 months have passed since I last posted here on my blog. And as I typed this I can’t stop smiling because I’m finally writing again. It felt so odd yet so satisfying. One thing is for sure —  my heart is very happy.

Travel Snapshots: Delaware 2015

IMG_7316

This is a long overdue blog post but I will share it anyway.

We spent our first ever 4th of July in Delaware, where our uncle currently lives with his family. This is also our first out-of-state travel if  Virginia is not included. Small trivia: For those who didn’t know, DC is not YET a state. I was confused at first because I thought it was but it turned out it wasn’t. Now we know.

Roaming Around DC | Part One

Right after we arrived here in States, the next day we immediately went for our first ever adventure. My dad could not come along with us because of work and since my mom already filed for a week of vacation right before we came here, she is the one taking care of our itineraries for our first time touring the city.

First, our mom bought us a Metro card (sorry I have no photo) which is basically our LRT/MRT  card in Manila. Metro is what they call their subway. They are re-loadable either thru cash or card and very easy to use. At first, I cannot understand how color coding on their train works but since we’ve been into trains for a number of times now, I already understood it. They have electronic boards on how many minutes are left before the train arrives and they have an app for it too so you won’t get lost or confused with their stations and all. I know right? It’s so amazing.

Our First Day | #JAICELINAMERICA

6In my last post I have shared my story about my brother and I’s first airplane ride and it took me a whole week to write all about our first day here in States because I’m still experiencing jet lag, which means I spent nights and nights and nights on Twitter and Instagram. Sucker, I know.

Tips & Thoughts: My First Ever Airplane Ride

If you have read my previous post (or you are my friend or something), you probably know by now that we have left the Philippines and we are now here in America with my parents as I am writing this. This is once again long due post because I haven’t been successful battling with my jet-lag for the past 4 days and it sucks, yes.

When we left Manila, I was a mess. I’m crying all over the airport and I cannot even control myself as I am saying my last goodbyes with my relatives and Labo. It still breaks my heart thinking about it, but I’m in a positive outlook right now and I have no room for heartache *hihi.

Anyways, I took photos of my brother and I’s first ever airplane ride! We are so excited about it and we are very much thrilled by just looking at airplanes on the airport.

UP Fair: ROOTS 2015

UP FAIR 2015: ROOTS

I saw in my #Timehop that it is exactly 5 years since I last went to UP Fair and I honestly feel so old after that. 5 YEARS! Time flies so fast.

Yes, last Wednesday, we went to UP to have some fun at their annual fair that they celebrate every second week of February (Valentine Week). I’m with Labo and my friend, Clei. For us, it is the night that has the best line up among others.

We get to see Typecast, Kamikazee, Pupil, Ebe Dancel, Urbandub and Franco perform. Duh, what is better than that? As I said in my Instagram post, Chito would have perfected the list but still it is the best. ❤️

So far, we enjoyed every single moment of that event. I think, I could count this one as our Valentine Date for this year. Hehe. Cheers for more concert experience!
