Getting To Know Me

I pass through this article by Lifehack today entitled “45 Questions To Get To Know Someone” that gives you some new ideas for topics to discuss when meeting someone new whether you are in a party or you just happen to meet someone and you just don’t know how to break the ice between the both of you. So I came up with a thought that I will pick 15 random questions from this list for you guys to know more about me. So here it goes.

1. Read on a Kindle or paperback book?  (This question is a starter for many possible conversations on reading, favorite books, technology, libraries, bookstores, and more)
This is a good starter question. If you would be asking me this question on our first meeting I would love talking to you already! Ha! To answer the question, I’m a traditional reader so I prefer reading a real book in my hands. Nothing beats the real thing. I have a Kindle though. My mom bought me one and I ended up using it just for magazine and newspaper subscription.

2. Go to the theater or a movie?
Movie any time, any day. I appreciate the art of theater because I have friends who are theater actors and I must tell you, it is not an easy thing to do. It’s just that I prefer a story being told through the lens of a camera.

3. Have a night out or evening in?
People who truly know me will know what would I prefer. Evening in, of course. No doubt.

4. Use Facebook or Twitter?
Twitter. Less drama.

5. Choose a free trip or money?
Free trip.

6. Who would you want with you if you were stranded on a deserted island?
Zac FREAKING Efron. With a body like his who would get hungry? Oops. I mean (duh) not in a sexual way but you know, climbing trees and hunting animals for our food. Those kind of stuff. COME ON. Lmao.

7. If you have all the money, what would you do all your life?
I would just be studying all throughout my life. I always say this. If I have all the money in the world or I will exchange lives with Paris Hilton or Kylie Jenner, I would not spend my money with luxurious things. I will just study everything. From Film to Media Studies to Photography and Art History. I will be the happiest person ever.

8. Where do you most want to travel, but have never been?
South Africa, in one of their Jungle Safari. I always wanted to be there. I am looking forward experiencing it.

9. What is your favorite book?
There are way too many. But to name a few; Why We Broke Up, My Friend Leonard, Harry Potter Series, How To Kill A Mockingbird and the most recently, Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell.

10. Who is your favorite author?
J.K. Rowling because of Harry Potter, Lemony Snicket and David Levithan.

11. What does your perfect day look like?
A whole day doing only grocery shopping or just staying inside my place, cooking or eating something, watching an indie film with my favorite person, cuddling and not thinking about anything.

12. Last movie you saw. What are your thoughts?
Last movie I saw in the cinema was Trainwreck starring Amy Schumer. It was good but I won’t recommend seeing the movie with your parents just like what we did. Sex scenes will be so awkward knowing your mother is sitting beside you. LOL. I love Amy Schumer and Bill Hader’s humor! The last movie I saw on my laptop however was Superbad starring Michael Cera and Jonah Hill. I’ve been in love with Michael Cera ever since Juno and I despise myself for seeing Superbad just now. One of the funniest movies ever!

13. How would your friends describe you?
Clei said, “Funny, Sentimental and Bookworm”.
Crista said, “Positive, Outgoing and Deep”.

14.  What is your favorite memory?
Childhood Christmas in the Philippines.

15. If you could do anything you wanted right now, what would it be?
I wanted to fly. For me to go to people I miss a lot and give them a hug.

So, what do you think of these questions? Does it makes you feel that you know me a little bit deeper now? I hope so. Let me know in the comments your answers in these questions or  you can write something like this one on your own blog too. Let me know and tag me if you do or send me a link! Would love to read it! x
